Prophet Magaya Becomes A Farmer And A Talent Scout.

PROPHETIC, Healing and Deliverance ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya has ventured into farming with a view to supplying markets across Southern Africa by July 2016.

Away from his life on the pulpit, Prophet Magaya is breeding pigs and cultivating maize, potatoes and soya for business purposes and to sustain his growing ministry.
Working from Derry Farm in Nyabira since May when he started with 300 pigs, the prophet has seen the sounder of swine multiply to 1 027 – and he aims to grow it to 30 000 by mid- 2016.

“We have ministry programmes that we are aiming to sustain with these projects. For instance, we have children who need to be assisted with school (costs).
‘‘So this project is solely for business so that we can sustain our ministry.
“We are still confined to the markets in Harare. Hence I am targeting to breed 30 000 pigs by July so that I can stretch to markets in the Southern Africa region,” Prophet Magaya said last Tuesday.
Though lacking a farming background, Prophet Magaya says he makes time from his busy ministry schedule to keep track of what is happening on the ground.
“There are times I don’t even have time to sleep to ensure that everything is on course. I am a hard worker,” he said.

In Mazowe, the prophet is growing maize, potatoes and soya beans.
“The produce is for our pigs,” said the prophet, who last week also revealed he would soon unveil a Prayer Mountain for all Christians in Waterfalls, Harare.

Keeping busy, Prophet Magaya is also building a high-performance sports centre in Waterfalls.
