UEFA consider suspending Cristiano Ronaldo for his actions during Euro 2016 final

Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show both on and off the pitch as his country lifted their first ever European Championship title.

The Portuguese ace was forced to leave the Euro 2016 final against Les Bleus in the first half after colliding with French star Dimitri Payet. However, that did not stop the 31-year-old from taking control from the side-line.

Despite his knee injury, Ronaldo kept on limping along the touchlines, as he not only encouraged his teammates but also assisted manager Fernando Santos in providing instructions to the players.

Although the Portugal star was seen as a hero due to his off-field contributions and high team spirit, UEFA think otherwise. They are looking to give A Seleção's all-time top scorer a suspension for his behavior on the side-line during the Euro final against France.

According to reports, if UEFA decide to hand Cristiano a suspension, he will miss one Euro Qualifier with Portugal.
