Anglophone Powerful Church Leaders Play Pontus Pilate And Hands Over The Fight To The People

The leaders of the Catholic, Presbyterian and Baptist denominations have this day, Thursday February 9th 2017, signed a joint communique, handing over the baton of command of the ongoing teachers strike to parents.


The Church leaders said they were never consulted by those teachers union leaders who called off the strike which never ended.

Condemning the bullying attitudes of South West Governor Okalia and other administrators, the Men of God said the government continued arrests, intimidations, Internet black outs has hardened the heart of the people.
They also said only parents are now responsible for school resumption, and washed their hands off the strike.
