Heavy Rains, Thunder, Gun Shots, Intimidation And More Arrests To Characterize May 20th Celebrations In The Anglophone Regions

The skies are dark, and angrily pouring out rains, as the people of the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon are frightened of what will happen today May 20th 2017, in their regions that have been transformed to Baghdad, as heavily armed military men in their thousands have invaded the chief towns of Buea and Bamenda and their surrounding villages.

Administrative authorities of the said regions had vowed that any attempt by the population to disrupt the proper functioning of activities of the day will be meeting with stiff resistance from the armed military men, who have instructed to shoot whoever will want to make any foul move.

After boycotting signals were sent all over over Southern Cameroon, that they shouldn't join in the 20th May Egyptian festivities of this year, the Governor of the South West Bernard Okalia Bilai, threatened traditional rulers that if they do not talk their subjects into coming to swell up the population and show the world that Cameroon is one and indivisible, they will lose the Chieftaincy titles and Red Caps.

Early morning signals all over Southern Cameroon shows heavy down pour and thunder, causing heavy floods, and people will have to paddle canoes to get out of their homes to the ceremonial ground. www.henrietteslounge.com
