Oppah Muchinguri Named Vice President Of Zimbabwe, But Will Mnangagwa Proceed?

Oppah Muchinguri has been privately named as Zimbabwe’s new vice president, sources close to the developments have claimed.

While the final official announcement had not been made at the time of writing, a document seen by reporters at the scene suggested that she has been clearly listed as the new VP. President Mnangagwa’s special advisor Chris Mutsvangwa who was interviewed by ZimEye last week, had days before already sounded out that Muchinguri is the most senior person in ZANU PF next to Mnangagwa alone.
