“MY LOVE FOR FASHION CAME FROM MY MOTHER. WHILE GROWING UP, I WAS ALSO ATTRACTED TO FASHION.” The former Zimbabwe president Grace Mugabe was nicknamed ‘Gucci Grace’ after photos showing off her opulent lifestyle surfaced.

Some media outlets reported that she had 12 diamond rings, 62 pairs of Ferragamo shoes and a Rolex worth sh.9,918,396. Her son has refuted the claims and he said:

“I HAVE SAVED MY MOTHER IN MY PHONEBOOK AS GUCCI GRACE. SHE LIKES DRESSING WELL AND FUNNY ENOUGH SHE DOESN’T OWN ANY GUCCI STUFF CONTRARY TO THE REPORTS BY THE MEDIA.”

The rich kid of Africa says he loves culture and traditional things and his clothing was christened from his surname Gushungu.

Robert Mugabe Jr revealed school was his best place as he spent most of the time studying and less at home.

“I LOVED SCHOOLING ESPECIALLY WHILE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL. I WENT TO A BOARDING HIGH SCHOOL AND IT WAS TOUGHER AND TURNED ME INTO A ROCK. IT MADE ME WHO I AM TODAY.”
