Breaking News - German Members Of Parliament Demand The Departure Of Paul Biya

There is an on going Civil war in the Anglophone region of Cameroon. This is because the regime in Yaounde after 20 years could not or dose not want to implement decentralisation.

Schools are closed for over 2 years in the Anglophone region, children are shot by military, elderly person are burned in their homes by military 300k internal displace persons over 30k are in Nigeria as refugees and productive farm lands are not being cultivated, hunger and will be next.

As you can see we are facing a humanitarian crises. For the past 50 years Germany together with other nations has been financially helping Cameroon with Aid, with all that Aid finance has not help to stabilise the nation. Germany has been moving to slowly when it comes to prevention of conflicts in Africa as a whole and these conflicts are are known way before they inflammated, still the Germany Government move to slowly towards prevention, for example we had our petition since June but we are happy that at last we can debate this problem.

Why are we not unpacking the tools for conflict prevention in the right time?

Where and what initiative the German government can boost of successfully carrying or implementing together with the EU?

What have we been doing in the UN Security council to help prevent this conflict?

Where is the multilateral pressure?

And the conflict in the Anglophone regions is inhuman, bloody and shameful conflict and its the last thing you can wish the people of these region to be going through, but there is no end in sight.

And the Anglophone are right as my colleague and previous speaker already noted.

And the solution can only come from somehow regional rule or federal structure and Germany has good knowledge on federal structure of government and can help in this process more than there have been doing if at all there have been doing anything.

Last Sunday Cameroonians voted for their new president but it would take 2 week for the results of the election to be announce, then the 85 year old president who spent all his time abroad on whole floor of a 5 star hotel will be proclaim the winner.

Of a population of 24 million Cameroonian 6.5 million registered to vote and on the Anglophone region of Cameroon there was no election.

An election which is not free and fare or legally fair the results cannot be accepted.

And so the international community must find ways to resolve this crises and a possible resignation of Paul Biya. Mr. Mass and Ms. Merkel you have to act now rather than later asking for tax payers money for humanitarian help.

Its not on our interest to be passive. The American/Nigerian author Cool will be right once more with the authorisation of the president I quote “THE WHITE RITA IMPLEMENT BRUTAL POLITIC IN THE MORNING, FORM A HUMANITARIAN HELP ORGANIZATION IN THE AFTERNOON AND RECEIVED AN AWARD IN THE EVENING”.

Lets see to the end of this crises do something at last.
