Cameroon News - Caf President Ahmad Amad Congratulates Paul Biya On Re-Election

The president of the Confederation for African Football Ahmad Amad has extended a message of congratulations to Cameroons President elects Paul Biya, for his victory in the October 7 presidential poll in the country.


He calls it an honor to be able to extend his warm congratulations to what he terms the “brilliant re-election” of Paul Biya to the helm of affairs in the country.

On behalf of the Executive Commission of the Confederation for African football and the football family as a whole, he extends his encouragement to the president elect, in taking up the noble mission with which he has been charged.
His congratulatory message comes a few days after that of countries like the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and a host of other African countries congratulated the president, with some of them calling on him to take up urgent measures to solve the crisis rocking the two English speaking regions of his country.

It should be noted that, the CAF boss was in Cameroon in the height of campaignns to check on the state of affairs regarding the country hosting the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations build for June 2019.
