Paris Conference - World Leaders Resort To Promote Peace.

The international forum for peace holding in Paris wraps off today November 13, after a general consensus of world leaders to put an end to arms conflict which can plunge the world into another world war.

The conference which brought together over 80 world leaders from different countries across the globe was one of the high points to mark the centenary celebration of the end of the First World War.

One of the world leaders present at the conference was the German Chancellor Angela Merkel who called for action in order to promote world peace and cooperation.

The German chancellor whom many consider as the “Super Woman” of Europe warned against taking peace for granted as she urged world leaders to work and put in efforts for peace to reign.

On his part, French President Emmanuel Macron called for an end to nationalism in order to promote international cooperation which leads to peace.
Like German Angela Merkel and French Emmanuel Macron, other world leaders including the United Nations boss Antonio Guterres through their speeches all came to the conclusion that, only peace could prevent the world from experiencing another world war given the reoccurrence of armed conflicts in the world on a daily basis.
